Why blog about business in Russia?

Churchill once said:

[Russia] is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma

The actual full quote is:

"I cannot forecast to you the action of Russia. It is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma; but perhaps there is a key. That key is Russian national interest."

But the first attitude is still very much prevalent - especially for those whom have short duration or little previous exposure to actual business in Russia.

The goal if this blog is to help illuminate some of what business in Russia is really like - from a small business perspective.
